Actually, Cameron Diaz will be the one terrorizing children with her singing in Annie

Apparently preferring to do her screaming at orphans in her own leisure time, Sandra Bullock has passed on the part of Annie’s Miss Hannigan, leaving director Will Gluck and producers Jay-Z and Will Smith to find someone who can strike fear in the hearts of the young on a set schedule. As such, they turned to Cameron Diaz—an actress who proved in Bad Teacher that she can be horrible to children, and in My Best Friend’s Wedding that she can be horrible while singing. Diaz joins the previously cast Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, and a giant hole where Tim Curry should be.
