Adam Lambert issues non-denial denial about being Queen's new singer

Last week we were among many outlets reporting that Adam Lambert had been recruited to become the new lead singer of Queen. Now Lambert himself has addressed the story on his Twitter page, claiming that his words were taken "out of context" and that he was only referring to his appearance with Queen last November at the MTV European Music Awards. "I haven't confirmed any guest appearances," Lambert wrote. The wording suggests that guest appearances might be confirmed at a later date, perhaps after Lambert releases his new album, Trespassing, March 20. But for now, Queen is officially without a flamboyant frontman. [via NME]
