Diane Keaton in talks to star in new HBO comedy series about bloggers

Recognizing talent when they see it, HBO is in talks to sign moisturizer pitchwoman Diane Keaton to its new comedy series Tilda, according to an exclusive report from Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Aussiello. The half-hour show will follow the life of a “powerful and much-feared Hollywood blogger,” whom everyone is taking great pains to assert is most certainly not based on Deadline’s Nikki Finke. (It is, however, based on the Hollywood fantasy that bloggers are both “powerful” and “much-feared.”) Should she accept, this would be Keaton’s first starring role on television, which suggests her career might finally be taking off.
