Seattle rap/R&B duo THEESatisfaction really like Anita Baker, the R&B singer responsible for the commercially and critically acclaimed '80s album Rapture. The band likes her so much, in fact, that it produced a mixtape in her honor. Made up of five songs, the mix is packed with TheeSatisfaction's characteristic digital drum beats, vocal interplay, and retro synths, all of which mimic those found on Anita Baker tracks.
This release marks the band's first since its Sub Pop debut, awE naturalE, which was released earlier this year.
