The A.V. Club partners with Tokyo Police Club for new covers project

Here at The A.V. Club, we like the feisty Canadian band Tokyo Police Club (so much that we invited them to perform at the first-ever A.V. Fest) and we like cover songs, so we’re naturally interested in TPC’s new covers project. Starting Aug. 23, the band will record one cover song per day from the years 2001 to 2010, and post it online the following day. The project will take place over 10 days and include 10 songs.

The songs will appear on a variety of media websites, including The A.V. Club on Aug. 30 and 31. Here is the full schedule:
