Fox gives Heroes creator Tim Kring another show

Like a super-strong single mother thought to have been killed in a massive explosion, only to turn up in another part of the world with a different name and the power to mimic water for some reason, Heroes creator Tim Kring has emerged from the wreckage of his cancelled show with a brand-new pilot at Fox. Called Touch, it centers on a father who learns that his mute and autistic son can predict the future. Those are the only details known so far, but based on Heroes, we’re guessing the bulk of the show is focused on the father denying that his son can predict the future, urging him to stop predicting the future, and instead unspooling long monologues about his dead wife. There’s got to be a dead wife, right?
