Hear the new single from Jim Jarmusch and Jozef Van Wissem, "Etimasia"

Independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch has been making up for lost musical time. The Stranger Than Paradise auteur is preparing to release his second collaborative album with lute player Jozef Van Wissem this year. The Mystery Of Heaven, which also features Tilda Swinton, will be the follow-up to February's Concerning The Entrance Into Eternity. Below, The A.V. Club has the premiere of the first single off Mystery, “Etimasia,” which is just as brooding as one might expect from Jim Jarmusch. (Sadly, this track has zero Tilda Swinton.)

In addition to The Mystery Of Heaven, the duo has also recorded music for use in Jarmusch’s upcoming vampire movie, which will also feature Swinton as well as the city of Detroit and Michael Fassbender.
