Here is R. Kelly's tribute to the victims of the Newtown school shooting

While R. Kelly should be plenty busy already—seeing that, as of the writing of this sentence, there were not yet 100 chapters of Trapped In The Closet—he still found some time to pen this song for those in mourning over the Newtown school shooting. Titled "I Know You Are Hurting," the gospel choir-led track (punctuated by the occasional "yeah" from R. Kelly) offers uplifting sentiments about looking to the blue skies and miracles of tomorrow, as it aims to relieve the suffering of those who lost their children. And yes, okay, it's about R. Kelly, relief, and children, and the song does include the lyric, "We need your love to shower down." But we're trying to stay positive here, because all proceeds from downloads go to the victims' families. [via Rolling Stone]
