In the interest of balance, it should be noted that Lana Del Rey was sorta okay on Letterman last night

Lana Del Rey made her first appearance on American television since last month's infamous Saturday Night Live debacle, singing "Video Games" on The Late Show With David Letterman last night. And since we reported on how bad the SNL gig went (and how bad her new album is), it should also be noted that the Letterman spot came off better for the singer-songwriter. Her inexperience with performing is still painfully obvious—she always seems unsure of what to do with her hands—but she was relatively relaxed, and the arrangement (and improved Late Show sound mix) suited her. We won't call it exactly "good," but it was certainly better. Letterman seemed to like it, anyway, inviting her back to the show for the next couple of nights. Take a look:
