This past weekend at a fan convention in Dublin, Leonard Cohen’s webmaster Jarkko Arjatsalo announced that Cohen would release his 13th studio album, titled Popular Problems, in celebration of his 80th birthday in September. Arjatsalo let very few details slip concerning what would make up Popular Problems, though it’s speculated that “I’ve Got A Little Secret”—a track Cohen has been peppering into live performances over the past year—could make an appearance. Later, on a post on Cohen’s fan forum, Arjatsalo added that Cohen has no plans to tour in support of the album, dashing any hopes that he’ll return to the road anytime soon.
