Listen to Pattern Is Movement's new record in its entirety now

Pattern Is Movement hasn’t released a record in six years, but this April 1, that’ll change. That’s when the soulful but totally weird Philadelphia duo will release its new and self-titled album via Hometapes. Citing influences as varied as Drake, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, and Werner Herzog, the group says this record exists in a “new and shifting territory where a percussive primitive heartbeat keeps time with the baroque method of civilization,” whatever that means. The A.V. Club is streaming the whole thing below, and interested parties can pre-order it the label’s site. The band’s also currently touring, and upcoming dates are listed below.
