Amid making movies based off videogames with Robert DeNiro and sequels to The Fighter, Mark Wahlberg has decided to return to the action comedy genre he broke into with The Other Guys. This time Jonah Hill is standing in for Will Ferrell as the foil to Wahlberg's straight man, and instead of cops the two are "cool-guy mercenaries whose latest mission gets complicated when it turns out one of them is related to the target," according to Vulture. The movie was written by Max Landis, the son of Coming To America director John Landis. Landis senior has made some pretty memorable buddy comedies before (Spies Like Us, anyone?), so here's hoping the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
