For their third full-length album, Portland’s Mean Jeans have joined the Fat Wreck Chords roster. And given Mean Jeans’ proclivity toward Ramones-style garage-punk—and its overarching party-first ethos—its new home at Fat fits like, well, a nice pair of jeans. On March 18 Fat will release the “Nite Vision” 7-inch, and The A.V. Club is premiering that track below. Although Mean Jeans has been slow to release new material over the past couple years, the song proves they haven’t lost any of their luster. The three-song 7-inch is available for pre-order now, and features two exclusive B-sides that won’t be on Mean Jeans’ forthcoming album on Fat.
