Milwaukee pop-punk band Direct Hit predicts the apocalypse with its new video for "White Robes"

Milwaukee pop-punk band Direct Hit hasn’t put a record out yet, but has already garnered a little bit of a following across Europe and North America. Today, though, the band dropped its second full-length, Brainless God, on Red Scare. Produced by All-American Rejects’ Mike Kennerty, the record is a concept piece themed around an impending apocalypse, and will come complete with both a comic book and DVD when a box set is issued later this fall.

The band is also releasing a video for each one of the album’s tracks, and, when assembled, the videos will make a movie about the LP’s concept. Noisey premiered the first one last week, but The A.V. Club has the premiere of the clip for “White Robes” the fifth song on the album. Watch it below and then, if you’re in Chicago, check Direct Hit out this weekend at Riot Fest. The band plays Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
