Morrissey announces World Peace, but, y’know, in a mocking way

Morrissey’s official fansite, True To You, has announced that His Mozjesty will release a new album this summer, titled World Peace Is None Of Your Business. It also reveals that Morrissey is “beyond ecstatic” about how the 12-track album—produced by Joe Chiccarelli, who’s worked with The Killers, The Strokes, The Shins, My Morning Jacket, and more—turned out. World Peace will be Morrissey’s tenth solo album, his first since 2009’s Years Of Refusal, and his first for the Capitol Records subsidiary Harvest Records. The success of the singer’s Autobiography seems to have reenergized him a bit: He’s even got a lengthy U.S. tour planned for this summer, including cheeky double bills with Tom Jones (in L.A.) and Cliff Richard (in New York).
