Morrissey cancels his remaining tour dates, citing lasting illness and general lack of vim, vigor

Citing his general wimpiness after a prolonged struggle with a bleeding ulcer, Barrett’s esophagus, and double pneumonia, Morrissey has cancelled the rest of his North American tour. What a baby. Why can’t he just take, like, double pneumonia medicine? Is it because it’s tested on animals or something?

Anyway, according to a press release, the ex-Smiths singer wishes to thank “all of his fans for their well wishes and thoughts,” presumably doing so while gently sniffling from his posh, pillow-covered bed and/or struggling with an unrelenting burning in his throat and gut that's left him feeling too horrible to sing.

Refunds for the cancelled shows are available at the point of purchase.
