Natasha Lyonne and Judy Greer rob a sex-toy store in the Addicted To Fresno trailer

In the trailer for Addicted To Fresno, we see that you can go home again, but you might have to cop to being a sex addict. Judy Greer stars as Shannon, who moves in with her sister Martha (Natasha Lyonne) after leaving a teaching job in disgrace. They also become co-workers when Martha gets Shannon a job as a hotel maid, a decision that she quickly regrets after witnessing her sister’s shoddy work ethic.

Things go from bad to gross when Shannon accidentally kills a hotel guest during sex. Then, while trying to dispose of the body, the sisters get blackmailed for $25,000 by pet cemetery owners played by Fred Armisen and Fargo’s Allison Tolman. So sex-toy stores will be robbed, a cart of dildos will get pushed around, and the myth of the nonexistent sex addict will be dispelled.

The dark comedy, directed by Jamie Babbit (But I’m A Cheerleader), is stocked with quirky indie actors: Kumail Nanjiani appears in a Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting, Clea Duvall is a robbery victim, and Aubrey Plaza rolls her eyes and looks exasperated.

Addicted To Fresno will be available on demand beginning September 1, and hits theaters on October 2.
