Greg Berlanti’s TV winning streak continues, with Variety reporting that his NBC espionage thriller Blindspot—the one about the amnesiac woman (Jaimie Alexander) who wakes up with her body covered in enigmatic, conspiracy-linked tattoos—has been renewed for a third season. With just one episode left in its second season, Blindspot was considered to be on the bubble this year after ratings started falling off, but the old Berlanti magic won out, earning the renewal, and denying him the heartbreak of seeing one of his billions of current programs—Arrow, Flash, Riverdale, Supergirl, etc.—fail to make the cut.
