Netflix rides BoJack Horseman into a second season

He’s part horse, part man, and all renewed: Four days after Netflix debuted BoJack Horseman, the streaming service has ordered a second season of the animated series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Arnett will return as the titular horse/man/fallen sitcom star for 12 additional episodes—though no premiere date has been given. It’s also unknown how many Netflix subscribers tuned in to binge the first 12 episodes of BoJack Horseman, as it’s the service’s wont to withhold viewership numbers from smart-aleck members of the press who didn’t see much reason to watch past the first half of season one. Season two of BoJack Horseman joins a swiftly expanding Netflix comedy slate that also includes the Jane Fonda-Lily Tomlin teamup Grace And Frankie and that late-night-talk-show-that’s-on-whenever starring Chelsea Handler.
