Phoenix gets its own tour documentary

Those cute and cuddly French pop-rockers in Phoenix spent a long time on the road in support of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, the band's much-loved breakout album that garnered many plaudits back in 2009, none more prestigious than being named the A.V. Club's album of the year. Director Antoine Wagner followed Phoenix on the Wolfgang tour for more than a year, and the result is From A Mess To The Masses, a 52-minute documentary that premieres this week on French and German TV. There's no word yet on whether the film will make it to the U.S., but there is a snazzy trailer available for your perusal below. [Via TwentyFourBit]
