Release dates those next three Star Wars movies have

The force will be with movie audiences in the summers of 2015, 2017, and 2019. That’s when Disney says it’ll put out the next three Star Wars movies, according to studio chief Alan Horn. Horn made the declaration during his presentation at CinemaCon, where he also confirmed that Disney and LucasFilm are working on other films related to Star Wars characters, but that aren’t actually episodes in the grand saga. As previously reported, J.J. Abrams will direct Star Wars: Episode VII and Michael Arndt—not Patton Oswalt, unfortunately—will write the script.
