After spending 10 months in a federal prison and a couple of weeks in a halfway house, rapper T.I. will be released back into society today. T.I. was arrested in September 2010 on a probation violation in connection with federal firearms conviction. He was sent to the halfway house on Aug. 31, put back in a prison after a conflict with authorities, and then returned to the halfway house Sept. 15. Barring any other snafus, T.I. will be a free man at an undisclosed time. [Via Billboard]
