Today's sign of the apocalypse: A 90-second video of hacky local news anchors making Austin Powers references

Earlier this week, news broke that Mike Myers and wife Kelly Tisdale were expecting a baby. While the Austin Powers “yeah, baby!” joke is certainly the most obvious joke to make, a new video put together by the team at Conan shows just how prevalent that terrible, dumb turn of phrase was on local news broadcasts reporting the story. The 90-second clip is actually fairly disturbing, with its jarring, quick-cut clips of boring anchors doing bad accents in the same intonation. Look on the bright side, though: At least they weren’t trying to do Dr. Evil.
