Dance-pop band Health first released its disco track “Die Slow” in 2009 on its Get Color album, but now the track has popped up in a video, premiering below, about the new Australian film Wasted On The Young.
Out April 23 on DVD by Indomina, Wasted On The Young is a dark film about the extremes high schoolers go to for status and the occasionally grotesque consequences of social climbing. Screened at both the Toronto International Film Fest and SXSW, Wasted On The Young stars Alex Russell (Chronicle, Carrie) and Adelaide Clemens (Silent Hill: Revelation 3D). Health’s “Die Slow” is featured on the soundtrack for the film along with songs by The Transients and Syd.
