Tampa, Florida trio Merchandise has been kicking around the punk underground for the past few years now, but their excellent Children Of Desire is only now getting a wide release. Described as Pitchfork as “a collection of glistening and emotive ear-bleeding noise pop inspired in equal parts of Wax Trax and Dylan,” the record is available today everywhere. The band filmed an acoustic performance of one of the album’s tracks, “Become What You Are,” this weekend on the roof of its home in Tampa, which premieres today on The A.V. Club.
