Natalia Clavier has spent years performing as the live vocalist for the Thievery Corporation, but just released her second solo LP late last month. Lumen is out now on Nacional Records and debuted at no. 1 on iTunes Alternativo charts for Latin alternative music. The record was produced by Grammy award winner Adrian Quesada and features work by Clavier’s husband, Argentine artist Federico Aubele.
Lead single “Trouble” has been making waves for a bit now, and The A.V. Club is pleased to have the premiere of the track’s accompanying music video below.
Clavier has a number of tour dates set for this summer with Thievery Corporation but is also playing a free solo show in New York City’s Central Park July 11 as part of the Latin Alternative Music Conference. A full list of the singer’s dates is available on her site.
