A.V. Talk: The Happening
The most heated exchanges prior to seeing the film were passed between film editor Scott Tobias, a Shyamalan defender, and managing editor Josh Modell, who hasn't seen a Shyamalan he liked since The Sixth Sense. After an office outing to see the movie, we recorded their conversation.
A couple of notes:
- The music is James Newton Howard's main theme to The Happening and "The Happening" by The Supremes, from a different movie of the same name.
- Any editing glitches should be blamed on me, and not web producer Paul Reda.
