The film adaptation of Twilight is targeted directly at the popular young-adult book series' squealing hordes of (mostly) teenage, female fans. While neither Tasha nor I fall into that category, today I reluctantly take on the role of "fan"–meaning I've actually read the books–to Tasha's outside observer. While we were both mostly underwhelmed by the film, we find we share a perverse fascination with the cult of Twilight and its dreamy, sparkly vampires, in today's podcast.
(While we don't get too spoiler-y talking about the film, there is some discussion of the later books in the series, so those planning to see what all the fuss is about are forewarned.)
