At The A.V. Club, we watch a lot of TV—but not every show is fit for the full, episode-by-episode TV Club treatment. But since we know you’d like the chance to chat about shows we don’t cover, we offer these open threads as a place to discuss shows that aren’t in the regular TV Club rotation or are otherwise off our radar.
Project Accessory airs tonight on Lifetime at 10 p.m. Eastern.
Isn’t there something disingenuous about the “use a bunch of found objects” challenges on a reality competition show? Are the real-life designers whose ranks the Project Accessory contestant hope to join really combing the beach in order to accessorize bland bikinis with flotsam, jetsam, and other things that wash up on shore? Let’s just keep pretending that they’re learning pertinent skills and laugh at Brian’s ridiculous hat.
