Ethical concessions keep The A.V. Club from offering a full-on review of Onion News Network, the hilarious-and-we’re-not-just-saying-it-because-the-bosses-upstairs-are-temporarily-controlling-our-keyboards IFC series from our sister publication. The Onion, Inc. publicity machine (an actual machine, we’re told) has been running at full power in anticipation of tonight’s episode, which introduces the world comatose Republican presidential candidate John Clarkson. And this missive that just slid across our desk indicates that if Clarkson were to take part in tonight’s CNN-Western Republican Leadership Conference Debate, we’d find him more concise and in-control than Texas Governor Rick Perry. You are obliged to compliment the series below.
