Look on the bright side, though: judging by the show's trailer, Crash: The Series is hammering so many cliches and broad themes over and over again, it may crack a wormhole into the space/time continuum before the first episode is over.

That was so edgy, it's practically a staircase (or some other object made entirely out of edges).
I hope that the caricatures, excuse me, the characters turning toward the camera and telling us their motivations in cliché form ("I don't break the rules, I bend them." "I need to bury my past before it buries me.") isn't just a device used in the trailer, but in the show as well. It's a real time-saver!
Also, "Ooh. I'm scared of a black man with a gun!" should be Dennis Hopper's catchphrase, along with something like, "Is that a race card in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
