David Bazan--former CEO of Pedro The Lion, now an established solo artist--has some history with the people behind the song he chose for Holiday Undercover. His career and that of Duluth band Low started around the same time, and they've been friends and occasionally tourmates over the years. Here, along with his current band (and tour manager), Bazan pays tribute to what might be the best song on Low's fantastic Christmas EP. It's a jaunty lil' tale of snow in Europe. Yeah, Bazan still manages to make it sound a little melancholy, but that's his way. His latest album is the excellent Strange Negotiations.
