Hear "Stranglin' You Too," a melodic slice of sinister torture from glowering Australian rockers Slug Guts
Summer is a time for feelgood jams, but sometimes you need a little darkness in order to see the light. One of our favorite non-summery summer jams at the moment is "Stranglin' You Too," a menacing, organ-driven gob of sinister spite by the Australian band Slug Guts. The song appears on the band's upcoming album, Playin' In Time With The Deadbeat, which will be released by the fine indie label Sacred Bones on July 24. While the rest of the world is at the beach, sit in a dark, air-conditioned room and blast this at full volume.
