Hulu coming to the U.K. (probably, maybe)
The Telegraph is reporting that the free online video service Hulu is in talks to roll out service in the United Kingdom. As proposed, the service would open up to Britain in September, and include access to the 3,000+ hours of American television and movie content already available, plus programming from the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.
Since it launched to the public in March 2008, Hulu has been available only to American audiences due to licensing restrictions, resulting in a great deal of whining from international audiences whenever certain American pop-culture websites choose to embed Hulu video in their articles. Like this!
