Kevin Smith to direct Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan in studio debut
Could Black Cop White Cop be a reality soon?
"One does the duty, the other gets the booty" says the poster for Tracy Jordan's Black Cop White Cop movie on 30 Rock, but life is imitating art, in a way: Variety reports Tracy Morgan (a.k.a. 30 Rock's Tracy Jordan) and Bruce Willis will star in a "detective comedy" directed by Kevin Smith for Warner Bros. It'll be Smith's first film for a major studio.
The film's original title actually sounds like a 30 Rock joke: A Couple Of Dicks. The plot apparently involves a stolen baseball card, a beautiful Mexican woman, and money laundering. Even odder: James Gandolfini and Robin Williams were attached as the leads originally.
Variety's report didn't mention when we can expect Who Dat Ninja or Fat Bitch in theaters.
