Newswire Morrissey collapses on stage, rushed to hospital

At a concert tonight in Swindon, UK, Morrissey collapsed after performing just one song, "This Charming Man," and was taken to a local hospital. According to The Guardian, he's in stable condition, and was conscious when the ambulance showed up. The 50-year-old former Smiths' singer has looked hale and hearty in recent years, in contrast to his early career, when he was king of the skinny, bespectacled, lonely nerds. We wish him a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: The Guardian is now reporting that Moz was released from the hospital this morning.
