One for next year's gift guide: 35-Film Clint Eastwood box set due in Feb.
The Hollywood studio system may be long dead, but that hasn't stopped actor/director Clint Eastwood and Warner Brothers from forging a working relationship that's spanned 35 years. In honor of that bond, Warner will be releasing the DVD box set Clint Eastwood: 35 Films, 35 Years At Warner Bros. on February 16, 2010. The set will actually include 34 films (plus a documentary by Richard Schickel) spread across 19 discs, for the surprisingly reasonable list price of $179.98. This is good news, though it kind of makes us wish we'd waited until next year to write this article.
