Remembering George Carlin (1937 - 2008)

George Carlin died Sunday at the age of 71. The words "edgy" and "groundbreaking" get attached to a lot of comics but they're rarely as applicable as they are to Carlin.
The A.V. Club had the good fortune to talk to Carlin twice, once in 1999 and again in 2005. Below are links to those conversations followed by a video clip.
