At The A.V. Club, we watch a lot of TV—but not every show is fit for the full, episode-by-episode TV Club treatment. But since we know you’d like the chance to chat about shows we don’t cover, we offer these open threads as a place to discuss shows that aren’t in the regular TV Club rotation or are otherwise off our radar.
The “next week on Gossip Girl” preview from last week’s episode harkened back to one of the series’ most off-the-rails moments—when a pack of Long Island wolves caused Trip Van Der Bilt to crash his car and then blame the whole thing on Serena—so here’s hoping the wreckage glimpsed in that footage was caused by some similarly out-of-place animals. Like a pair of elephants, or a herd of koalas. Anything that makes Gossip Girl remotely interesting again would be appreciated.
