Seth MacFarlane and Frank Ocean will kick off the next season of Saturday Night Live
Dashing all hopes that it would be Vladimir Putin and Pussy Riot, we guess, Saturday Night Live has announced that the host and musical guest for its 135th season premiere will be Seth MacFarlane and Frank Ocean, respectively. MacFarlane, of course, is celebrating a successful summer run of Ted, promoting the fall debuts of all his myriad Fox cartoons, and probably singing one of his big band showtune numbers, because that's what he does. Meanwhile, Frank Ocean is still riding his own wave of good feelings about Channel Orange and not having to fraternize with Coldplay. The host/guest pairings thereafter include Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Mumford & Sons just hangin' out, talkin' about vests on September 22, and Daniel Craig and Muse sharing their Olympics memories on October 6, followed by Craig's dead-on impersonation of Daniel Craig watching Fred Armisen do something wacky.
