That Barack Obama/Katy Perry mashup you've been dreaming about will finally happen this Saturday
In a surprise political/pop team-up not seen since Ronald Reagan and Cyndi Lauper played a sold-out, two-night stint in Central Park, President Barack Obama and pop star extraordinaire Katy Perry are scheduled to appear at Milwaukee’s Delta Convention Center Saturday, Nov. 3. Obama is making a final push through Wisconsin in advance of next Tuesday’s election, with Perry lending her considerable talents to the appearance. She is also expected to sing.
Not to be outdone, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will make an appearance at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Friday morning. A performance by The Oak Ridge Boys has yet to be confirmed.
