The trailer for 50 Cent's directorial debut hits the net (cue sound of crickets)
50 Cent hasn't had much luck when it comes to acting. Or movies. Or feuds. Or selling albums as of late. But that hasn't stopped the ambitious young man/vitamin water guru from playing renaissance man by directing as well as starring in Before I Self Destruct, a low-budget "film" that will accompany 50's feverishly unanticipated forthcoming album of the same name in a DVD/CD double-disc set. Here's a trailer. It's, uh, something. Will 50's debut as an auteur match the success of Get Rich or Die Tryin', Home of The Brave or that shitty direct-to-DVD action movie he did with Val Kilmer and Sharon Stone? We remain, as always, cautiously optimistic.
