At The A.V. Club, we watch a lot of TV—but not every show is fit for the full, episode-by-episode TV Club treatment. But since we know you’d like the chance to chat about shows we don’t cover, we offer these open threads as a place to discuss shows that aren’t in the regular TV Club rotation or are otherwise off our radar. We’d never heard of Wendy Liebman before this special showed up on our regular TV listings sources, and the TV Guide synopsis of the special is wildy vague: “Comedian Wendy Liebman performs a stand-up set.” She’s been around the stand-up circuit for a while, though—at least long enough to accumulate several YouTube videos filled with dry one-liners delivered through a manic grin seemingly borrowed from one of Maria Bamford’s many personas. Let’s all meet Liebman together, shall we?
