What’s a bingo? Christoph Waltz replacing Nicolas Cage as villain in The Green Hornet
The internet is abuzz over word from Nikki Finke at Deadline.com that everyone’s favorite Nazi from Inglourious Basterds will be stepping into The Green Hornet‘s villain role vacated by Nicolas Cage. This film just got major credibility with this casting change. Christoph Waltz will appear as Chudnofsky opposite Seth Rogen’s Britt Reid in the comic-book actioner directed by Eternal Sunshine’s Michel Gondry, which also features Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, and Edward James Olmos. Basterds fans should rejoice knowing now that the charismatic 52-year old Austrian actor who stole the show in Tarantino’s WWII blockbuster will remain visible to American audiences, instead of retreating into art house flicks and projects in his native land. He has a promising career, that one.
