Writers Guild Of America announces nominees
Variety has news of the Writers Guild Of America's nominees for its screenplay awards. Best original screenplay nominees: “Burn After Reading,” “Milk,” “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “The Visitor” and “The Wrestler” (written by former Onion editor Robert Siegel). Best adapted screenplay nominees: “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Dark Knight,” “Doubt,” “Frost/Nixon” and "Slumdog Millionaire." The winners will be announced February 7th.
