Zooey Deschanel looking to star in a time-travel comedy
In what is presumably an effort to spread her “adorkable” brand across the boundaries of space and time, Zooey Deschanel is in talks to headline a romantic comedy about time travel. According to Variety, Fox’s favorite doe-eyed quirky girl is contemplating taking the love interest role in About Time, a film from the billion-dollar mind of Love Actually’s rom-com king Richard Curtis, who’s pretty much responsible for every Sunday afternoon you’ve spent unable to leave your couch because Notting Hill is on. (Don't judge.) Domnhall Gleason—whom you probably know as Bill Weasley from the last two Harry Potter installments—would play Deschanel’s love interest and a member of a “time-traveling family” who uses his gifts to “change situations for the better.” Perhaps he can use them to make it so The Time Traveler’s Wife never happened.
