AC Slater, a.k.a. Aaron Clevenger, began spinning records in the late ’90s, building a home for the American hardcore electronic scene with his own record label, Pitched Up. From producing to remixing, Slater has also worked on tracks for artists and DJs alike, from Little Boots to Moby. Slater may have found a broader fan base as he’s transitioned from the brutal beats of hardcore to a softer, more club-friendly sound, but he still manages to stay harsh with nods to the untamed genres of grime and dubstep in his mix
