A.D. Miles
In the 14 years since revered comedy troupe The State broke up, A.D. Miles has emerged as its unofficial eleventh member, appearing in the group’s side projects and its members’ feature films. Miles’ posthumous semi-inclusion in the group seems natural, as his stand-up has always been laced with the abstract songs and non sequitur stories that made David Wain and Michael Showalter's careers. Though his name is still relatively obscure, Miles landed a memorable bit part in last year’s Role Models and has served as head writer ofLate Night With Jimmy Fallon since the show’s inception. Miles’ humor has taken a more "set-up to punch line" structure since joining Late Night, but he’s still more than capable of weirding out an audience.
