Aerosmith
Even after a near breakup in early 2010 that found the band auditioning new singers after Steven Tyler was fired/quit the band, Aerosmith remains surprisingly unkillable. The band quickly regrouped with plans for new material—its first since 2001’s Just Push Play—and apparently Tyler’s solo album, face-plant in a Hawaiian hotel room, autobiography, and off-putting gig as an American Idol judge haven’t further delayed the already lengthy wait. The band’s latest, Music From Another Dimension, is due out this August, and the band debuted its latest single, “Legendary Child” on the season finale of American Idol. Tyler’s creepiness only gets stronger with each passing year, but it hasn’t seemed to keep people from wanting to hear weathered old men bang out randy rock classics like “Walk This Way” and “Love In An Elevator.”
