Artist AM Taxi

AM Taxi pulls a lot of influence from the usual suspects in MySpace page “Sounds like” sections from all over the country (Bruce Springsteen, The Replacements) and mashes them up into a tenderized version of The Gaslight Anthem’s gravel-voiced grit. But despite being way back in a long line of similarly inspired bands, warm production, well-rounded songwriting, and youthful exuberance get the Chicago group by on its debut full-length, We Don’t Stand A Chance, particularly on the percussive piano punctuated single “Fed Up.”
